On Tuesday, Fox News show Outnumbered addressed a number of celebrities that have recently equated media and paparazzi intrusion to being a solider in war, battle zones, and now, rape. Last weekend at London's Wireless Festival, Kanye West compared the paparazzi taking photos of his family to rape. Panelist Stacey Dash (Yes, that Stacey Dash, who once starred in West's "All Falls Down" video) gave her own opinions on West's comments.
"For Kanye to say rape, maybe he needs to spend some time on Rikers Island, you know, go to Rikers for a little while and then he'll know what rape is," she said. "I don't get celebrities not understanding that the paparazzi are doing their job."
West ranted about needing a day off—and how everyone, even celebrities—have the right to say, "You know what, I need a minute to breathe." "I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherfuckers following me," he told the crowd at Wireless.
“Everybody out here likes sex, right?," he followed up with later. "Sex is great with you and your partner. But if one of the people don't want to do that, what is that called? That's called rape. That's called violation."
