Is there anybody with a more prolific record in hip-hop than E-40? The Bay Area legend has dropped 27 albums and counting since he burst onto the scene in the mid-1980s, and he hasn't slowed down a bit, dropping 10 studio albums since 2012 alone. And now he's back with a new song, "Straight Out the Dirt," with some assistance from YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Yo Gotti.

The song premiered Saturday evening on "The Pharmacy," Dr. Dre's Beats 1 Radio show on Apple Music, and it features the same bouncy style E-40 fans have come to know and love, albeit with some help from a younger rapper like YoungBoy. E-40's willingness to work with members of a new generation of hip-hop is refreshing, and he has emphasized that mentality repeatedly in the latter stages of his career. During a recent interview with ComplexE-40 stressed that he's happy to work with talented people, no matter what their age is.

"What motivates me is true talent, it's golden when talent acknowledge talent. I'm not a grumpy ass veteran, I'm a old ass youngsta with vintage gas and new school gas," he said. "Rap evolves and to still be current you have to evolve with it! Get in front or get left behind. I love working with different artist with different styles and different producers with different sounds, creativity is everything."
