Premiere: British Soul Star Omar Returns With New Visuals For “Doobie Doobie Doo”
Directed by Elliot Simpson.

Omar Lye-Fook MBE is a British soul legend who, after over 25 years in the biz, has not missed a step. Consistency is something the "Golden Brown" hit-maker prides himself on and just last year he released—according to BBC 6 Music's Gilles Peterson—"another brilliant album" in the form of Love In Beats, which is Omar's eight full-length offering to date. But there's more: on Friday 26th January, a deluxe edition of the jazz and funk-leaning album drops, and Omar celebrates the fact today with the premiere of his new Elliot Simpson-directed video for project standout "Doobie Doobie Doo".
"This track harks back to the Studio One/Motown days," Omar told Complex via email. "My brother's beat is the perfect backdrop for this smooth piece of music." Take in the smile-inducing, light-hearted visuals exclusively above.
