It’s always a good day when something new from Knucks arrives.
The North-West London rapper, with swag in his bones, has been shaking the underground scene with his grime-licked flows, laid-back steez and jazz-tinged beats for a number of years now, and he hasn’t missed a beat yet. He was inspired by rap’s greats—namely Nas, J. Cole and Wretch 32—and it most definitely shows.
Today, Knucks is premiering the visuals for his new single, “Nice & Good”—which is lifted from his forthcoming, highly-anticipated Alpha Place EP—and it features another hot-on-the-block rhymer in SL. “We really made some magic,” Knucks tells Complex over email. “It’s an all-round feel-good track about moments in the ends—good moments, in the midst of constant madness. It’s one for the summer, celebrating the ends and life in general.”
