It's been a while since we received a full body of work from Jennifer Lopez. Her last album A.K.A. came out in 2014. But it looks like J.Lo is gearing up to drop her ninth studio effort with the release of the lead single, "Us."

Now, you may be shrugging at the idea of new J.Lo music, but she has the ability to drop some earworms that you can't get out of your head. So let's not act like "On the Floor" and "If You Had My Love" don't low key go off. Oh, and let's not pretend like "Waiting for Tonight" isn't a certified banger.

In late December, Lopez's boyfriend Alex Rodriguez shared an Instagram Live stream where DJ Khaled and J.Lo are seen in the studio discussing a Cardi B feature on an upcoming song. It appears as though that one is on the back burner for now, in favor of this Skrillex-produced track.

As is the custom with J.Lo songs, the 48-year-old singer is contemplating the perplexities that come with love and relationships. Add a little bit of Skrillex on the track, and you have something special.

Listen to her latest single "Us" over on Apple Music and iTunes or via Spotify below.
