Future May Have Reignited His Feud With Jay Z Over the Money Phone Line

In the first part of his Rap Radar Podcast interview with Elliott Wilson and Brian "B. Dot" Miller, Jay Z touched on a variety of topics, including his take on the money phone in "The Story of O.J." 

"Y'all holdin' money to your ear," Jay raps. "There's a disconnect, we don't call that money over here." The lyric drew backlash from Future, Boosie Badazz, and even Drake, but Hov doesn't understand why the line was being so misinterpreted. "I didn’t even tell people to stop using the money phone," he admits. "I didn’t say that. I had to listen again like 'How is this being misinterpreted?' because I just said it ain’t money to us. It ain’t. That’s just an honest statement."

Jay went on to clarify what he meant to convey with that now infamous line. "Money to us, me and my three friends on the floor at Golden State, not because the seats are expensive but because that’s what we’re doing, you’ve never seen that," he said. "Or, building brands and pushing it forward. That can’t be the end all, that can’t be our goal, to get money and show it on the Internet. That can’t be our goal, that’s some corny shit."

It appears Future heard what Jay had to say about the money phone line, and decided to toss out two subliminal tweets in the rapper's direction.

It's amazing that Future would want to add fuel to the fire over something as frivolous as a money phone line, but...here we go again.
