They’ve been teasing it for a few months now, but Tempa T and Zero’s “Watch The Skank” has finally arrived—and it was well worth the wait.

Inspired by the golden days of late 2000s Ayia Napa, the track takes its hook from a viral clip that should make ravers of a certain age get all misty-eyed the moment they hear it. Tempz shared the “watch the skank / let’s go gym” clip a couple of years ago so turning it into a full tune was long overdue. If you’re a grime raver, you may have also heard these bars tear up many a dance.

Apparently, up North producer Zero felt the same. Tempz’s barked commands are perfect for the foot-stomping energy of bassline/4x4 and, frankly, we can’t believe there aren’t more bassline/speed garage cuts from the East London grime legend.

Tap in below and expect to hear this everywhere over the summer.
