18 years since the release of the first volume, this year will see Skream release the Skreamizm Vol. 8—a sobering bit of data if you were there when it came out. That’s a little way off though with no release date set in stone quite yet, but what we do have is one of the tracks to be featured: “Your Love”, a bouncy, percussive piece of soulful house featuring Bajan singer Lagoon Wavey.

A lot’s changed since the first Skreamizm and that goes double for the Croydon producer’s sound itself. Dubstep, disco, techno and garage have all been absorbed into his repertoire over the years. With “Your Love”, Skream is well and truly in his house bag, tempering L.W’s fluttery, airy vocals with a crisp, almost breaksy drum pattern to give the track a bit of crunch and a bit of bounce.

While we wait for more details on Skreamizm Vol. 8, shake a leg with “Your Love” below.
