Strings have always had a place in the worlds of UK garage and bassline, but they've never quite been used the way they are in Wonderlust's new single, "Your Touch". Though the faceless UK producer's tune is ostensibly a UKG one, the much lower tempo makes for a prime opportunity to slow the strings down as well to give them more room to dominate the melody. But that's not to say the pace is lacking at all; "Your Touch" would do very, very well in a club setting. In fact, by matching the liquidy vocals with the snappy kicks and snares, Wonderlust has somehow managed to create a track that is simultaneously fast and slow. Listen below.
