After a little over a decade in the game, Brazilian DJ and producer Wehbba's creative aspirations seem to grow day by day. Now prepping for the release of his third album, Straight Lines And Sharp Corners (due March 9), he's just unveiled the album's latest single "No Sleep".
The project itself is a concept album comprising 13 productions that blend club-ready electronics and energising rhythms with more organic textures, not least the extensive field recordings he's accumulated over the years. The result is something deeply personal but filled with a fiery energy that should keep you awake for days, particularly on "No Sleep", which is as relentless and powerful as the name suggests.
