On Dec. 18, Coyote Records will be releasing the new EP from Tom E. Vercetti (one third of Silk Road Assassins), Future Perfect, and they've just shared opening track "Fugitive" with us. It seems hard to believe the label's only been around for three years, championing some of the best electronic music going, much of which is informed by grime. Vercetti's "Fugitive", much like the exclusive mix he made for us back in April, alludes to grime but only in an abstract sense. The growling bass, icy synths and futuristic arpeggios sure sound familiar to a grime ear but the setting is worlds apart. Though this is Vercetti's first release proper, with all the buzz surrounding his name, we're predicting some pretty big things.
