After critically acclaimed work in live bands with the likes of Makeness and George FitzGerald, South London producer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Ibbetson is now gearing up to release his second EP, Control Yourself (due September 6), and today he's sharing one of the project's key tracks, the deeply atmospheric and textured "Then There Was...".

The new track is huge in scale, building intricate drum patterns and an ever expanding wall of sound to an almost overwhelming apex of pulsing bass, percussion and melodies. With his second EP in his own right almost upon us, and an impressive amount of praise from all corners of the industry, Ibbetson clearly has a bright future ahead of him. And with tracks this epic in scale, that future could well include scoring film soundtracks.
