Ladbroke Grove singer-songwriter Brinx is back with another slice of sultry, smokey R&B. She first caught our attention early last year with her jazz-infused "Unavailable Love", but now she's back with something a little different. "Creative Genocide", which opens her four-track Love Obsolete EP, is a brooding behemoth of echoing strings and foreboding bass lines countered by the West Londoner's striking falsetto vocals. It's a dramatic start for the EP and perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the project. Combining vivid storytelling and profoundly emotive production, "Creative Genocide" will grip you from start to finish and leave you eager for the rest of the EP.
