Based in Ladbroke Grove, West London, emerging singer-songwriter Brinx, 25, draws on both her London home for inspiration as well as her loved Caribbean roots. Mixing together those eclectic sounds with funk, jazz and blues, the artist uses that—plus her trips to and from Tobagoto channel into her music. The result is a smoky, jazzy kind of soul music that twists and turns in unexpected directions.

Listen to "Unavailable Love" below, a bold debut from Brinx that hopefully signals the beginning of a fruitful career.
