Premiere: UK Rap Duo AE Drop Visuals For Smoky New Track “Sensei”

Last year, UK rap duo AE—aka Ads and Els—struck viral gold with their viral smash “Capri-Sun”. Far from a flash in the pan, it was the latest in a series of gems stretching back to their 2020 debut, the Summer We Never Had EP.

Fresh from their impressive On The Radar freestyle, AE strike while the iron is hot with new drop “Sensei”. Produced by PB, AE cruise over a smoky hip-hop instrumental with limitless low-slung swagger to offset their precision rhyming. Directed by GM, the accompanying video hits the tone perfectly. Following the South London pair around a stylish apartment, it’s a relaxed but tastefully curated setting.

As Ads explains to Complex UK, the whole thing was organic, yet well thought-out and intentionally executed.

“This song came about very organically,” she shares. “It started off as a freestyle and we just kept going, pretty much like how our career has been to this point. We just keep going! This year, just expect a lot more music from us.”
