Following a string of high-profile collabs with Skepta, Unknown T and Amaarae, Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK returns with another A-list team-up, this time connecting with Nigerian Afro-pop star Tiwa Savage for “100 Million”.
Pairing the rough with the smooth, ODUMO’s machine-gun delivery stands in stark contrast against Tiwa’s lavish, more melodic vocal style—although she doesn’t exactly pull any punches either.
Set against Sholz and Decster’s glossy production style, it’s pure energy from from the get-go, drawing influence from grime, drill and the very foundations of Afrobeats. Directed by Starks, the accompanying visuals see both ODUMODUBLVCK and Tiwa Savage speed through the sun-baked streets of Los Angeles (palm trees aplenty!) as well as in a club setting alongside their fans.
