After a very packed few years, Homerton driller KO has announced he’s ready to release his debut mixtape, Fine Line, at the end of this month. Ahead of that, he’s just given us the first taste with some visuals for the intro track.

Given a bass-heavy, shuddering instrumental by producer R14, “Fine Line (Intro)” sets the scene for the tape in more ways than one. Lyrically, KO cues up some of the themes we can expect to hear more of on the new project, specifically road life and the music game, the transition from one to the other and how they interact.

Visually, it plays out like a day-in-the-life sequence, following KO and the team as he joins Potter Payper on stage to perform Thanks For Waiting extract “Rappers Lie”, finally getting the crowds they both deserve. Adding a touch of the personal, the visual juxtaposes that on-stage liveliness with some up-close shots of KO moving between the streets and the backstage as he tries to find the balance between the two.

Fine Line lands on November 26. While we wait for the tape, hit play on the video above and be sure to add “Fine Line (Intro)” to your playlists.
