#98s’ Jimmy Drops Debut Solo Mixtape ‘Risk It All’ f/ Unknown T, Alchubbino, Teeway & More

Clearly intent on making his debut mixtape count, he’s also dropped off some dramatic visuals for the tape’s lead single, “Page Nine”, with Alchubbino.

The #98s set has produced quite a few stars since they emerged a couple of years ago. Of course, Unknown T was already on the ascent, but they’ve also made big names of V9, KO, Billy Billions, DA, and the always-masked Jimmy. Now breaking through as a rap heavyweight of his own, Jimmy’s just dropped off his debut solo mixtape Risk It All.

At just nine tracks, there’s not an ounce of fat on this streamlined, no-filler debut. Clearly intent on making his debut count, he’s also dropped off visuals for the tape’s lead single, “Page Nine”, with Alchubbino. Opening with some solemn guitar licks, the two rhymers take centre stage against a dramatic, all-black backdrop before striding over Mason and Tefo’s instrumental.

As for the rest of the features, Jimmy’s kept it fairly restrained with only Unknown T, Asha and Teeway adding additional verses. For production, meanwhile, he’s brought in a slightly larger team, including A-A-RON, Eight Beats, Orwot, R14, Ignour, Bkay, Zimmz, Swan and, of course, Mason and Tefo.

No doubt this is just the beginning, so get yourself caught up with the “Page Nine” visuals above and then the rest of the Risk It All project below.
