On Monday (Oct. 31), Giggs took to social media to announce his next project, Zero Tolerance, was not only finished but was set to arrive soon—August 18, in fact. A few days later and he started posting teasers of the first single, “Mandem”, that featured none other than Diddy.
The video for that track, which was produced by Louis Aura, has since arrived. Directed by Myles Cunningham, the visuals follow the pair round one of Diddy’s palatial mansions as they swap missives about celebrating Black excellence and staying defiant in the face of criticism, before Diddy wraps things up with the chant “Black! King! Gods!”
The pair have been friends for a little while now and were spotted recently, along with DJ Khaled, at Messi’s debut game for Inter Miami.
For now, there isn’t much more information about the new project, besides the release date, but given that it’s 15 years since Giggs’ debut album, Walk In Da Park, it’s certainly going to be an event.
