Big Narstie Drops Video For ‘Smoking Grown Folk OG Vol. 2’ Highlight “Suffering”

Big Narstie may have conquered the small screen, but he hasn’t turned his back on music yet. Earlier this month, he released Smoking Grown Folk OG Vol. 2 (a sequel to the first volume from 2021), and now we’ve got a video for the project’s closing track, “Suffering”.

One of Narstie’s trademark ‘pain’ cuts, it’s a slower affair, driven forward by Spooksville’s spartan production. Touching on his upbringing and the realities of street life, it’s a bleak affair, a feeling that’s driven home by Nottingham-based singer Jaymal, who delivers a melodic and poignant hook for the track’s centrepiece.
