Running alongside his music, which remains on an upward trajectory, West London’s ASB has also been embedding himself in the podcast game with his own series titled RealTalk TruStories.

Recent episodes have seen him and co-host Dee Gully connect with local names like Ash Catch ‘Em, DJ Ironik and Complex UK’s very own Editor-In-Chief, Joseph ‘JP’ Patterson. But ASB’s also been building strong links with our U.S. counterparts, including his latest guest, Dave East, who sat down for long chat to discuss his new project, Book Of David, as well as take a deep dive into his career.

Dave talks his move into acting, his ongoing friendship with Method Man—who he plays in the Wu-Tang: An American Saga series—and how he connected with Popcaan to secure a feature from the dancehall star on Karma 3 extract “Unruly”. He also speaks on his work with Mike Kuz, Buda and Grandz, as well as the Harlem and Queensbridge connections with Nas and his brother, Jungle, and how that led to Nas signing Dave.
