The name Ayra Starr has been inescapable these past 12 months.
Ayra’s debut album, 19 & Dangerous, landed to universal acclaim (and some eye-watering streaming figures), she earned a MOBO Award nomination, and pretty much the entire industry in Nigeria, the UK and beyond have her tipped for greatness. This week, she returned with visuals for one of the album’s key tracks, “Beggie Beggie”—a smooth but impassioned team-up with fellow Nigerian star Ckay.
