Adijah Palmer, better known as Vybz Kartel, has been charged with conspiracy to murder, possession of a firearm, and murder. This all stemmed from investigation of some residences in Kingston and St. Andrew that Kartel is known to visit or own. In one of those locations, a burned body was found.
The Jamaican dancehall superstar and his associates are being accused of killing Barrington "Bossie" Burton, a local businessman who was murdered while standing outside in Gregory Park. Kartel has assembled a team of lawyers and is currently behind bars awaiting the preliminary hearing.
