According to MRC Data, the album sold 137,000 equivalent album units in its first week, surpassing Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, which earned 135,000 equivalent album units this week, BillboardreportsCLB sat atop the Billboard 200 chart for three weeks since its release last month but is now right below Sincerely, Kentrell at No. 2 in its fourth week. The other top five albums this week are Lil Nas X’s Montero which slid from No. 2 to No. 3, Kanye West’s Donda, which remains at No. 4, and Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour as No. 5. Album’s from Doja Cat, Morgan Wallen, The Kid Laroi, Billie Eilish, and Rod Wave round out the top 10, in that order.

Sincerely, Kentrell is YoungBoy’s latest No. 1 album since releasing his last project,  Top, in 2020 which boasted features from Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg. While the rapper is currently in prison after being charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a firearm not registered to him, his legion of fans and memes of “YoungBoy better” circulating on social media has helped his new album reach this chart success despite it not receiving heavy promotion prior to its release.
