The smooth crooning of Morray is paired with the Cordae’s fly bars for the North Carolina artists’ new collab “Still Here.”

One of the biggest reflections of Morray’s growth in the music industry is how he’s shed any ounce of uncertainty from his voice. After snagging a feature on J. Cole’s 2021 album The Off-Season and joining the fellow Fayetteville native on his tour for the album, Morray has proven he’s ready for the bright lights.

“Still Here,” which arrives with a video directed Laka and Jerry Morka, finds Morray discussing the trials and tribulations he’s overcome in order to get to the position he’s in now. He understands the path he had to take wasn’t easy, and embraces the scars he’s gained along the way. “It ain’t the same in this world but I’m still here/Gotta be strong as I can, hiding all these fears/Being stuck in the chains for so many years/But I gotta play the game ’cause I’m holding all of these tears,” he belts on the hook.

This track marks Morray’s first release since dropping his Benny the Butcher-assisted track “Never Fail” back in November. If these singles are any indication, Morray’s next project following the success of his 2021 mixtape Street Sermons should be one to watch out for.
