Def Jam artist Mak Sauce linked up with Lil Yachty and NLE Choppa to deliver the "Good Morning" remix. The song is a welcome escape from the tumultuous times we're currently living in, utilizing a bright, uptempo beat matched with Yachty and NLE Choppa's wordplay following Mak's catchy hook that "today is a wonderful day."
The "Good Morning" remix falls in line with several other singles the Atlanta artist has dropped this year, including "Razor Blade Flow," "Tomorrow," and "Cook Up" to name a few. The original version of "Good Morning" dropped back in 2019 along with his mixtape Saturn Boy which came with impressive features from DaBaby, Mundo Shoy, Paper Lovee, and others.
In terms of Lil Yachty and NLE Choppa, the two have also been staying busy while in quarantine. Yachty is still riding the wave of his hit single "Oprah's Bank Account" featuring Drake and DaBaby that dropped earlier in March. Not only did the track garner some attention from Oprah herself, but it would also be the catalyst in giving Drake the most Billboard Hot 100 entries ever, sitting with 208 at that point.
NLE Choppa has also been making new music as well, most notably receiving the Roddy Ricch assist on his track "Walk Em Down" back in late March. Choppa also revealed to Complex that he asked Roddy for the guest feature via Instagram, to which Roddy graciously accepted.
