Gunmen Reportedly Opened Fire on Recording Studio Waka Flocka Was At

The shooting took place on April 4, however according to recent news reports the rapper had to dodge bullets while escaping the scene.

An unidentified gunmen opened fire on Waka Flocka's Atlanta studio on April 4, per reporter Michael Seiden from the Atlanta news station WSB-TV. According to recent news reports confirmed by local authorities, the rapper was forced to dodge bullets as he attempted to escape the shooter. 

CNN reports that three men carried out the shooting, and Flocka was one of a dozen people present when the gunmen opened fire on the studio. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that one man was shot in his arm during the attack and was taken to Atlanta's Grady Memorial Hospital. Police are reportedly still in the process of identifying and apprehending the perpetrators.

The incident took place at Zac Recording in northwest Atlanta. When police responded to the emergency call, they were greeted by two armed men who stated that someone had suffered injuries. It has yet to be determined if Flocka was the target of the shooting.
