President Obama Himself Addresses Jay-Z and Beyoncé's Cuba Trip

Earlier this month, Jay-Z and Beyoncécelebrated their five-year wedding anniversary in Havana, Cuba. The trip stirred up controversy since it's illegal for Americans to visit the Communist country for tourist purposes.

First, news broke that the trip was licensed by the U.S. Treasury Department for cultural purposes. Then Jay-Z rapped, "Boy from the hood, but got White House clearance" on his new song "Open Letter." This prompted a response from the White House that refuted such claims.

Now, President Obama himself is addressing the situation. When asked about his celebrity friends' vacation in a recent interview with TODAY, he responded:
