On Instagram, he said: “Watching the world halt and teeter on a tightrope, I learned to key into my power. True power flowing from within, radiating outward. No more being boxed in.”

Last time we heard the Nigerian-born, Toronto-based artist was in July, when he dropped the summery single “That’s Alright,” produced by Grammy nominated producer Sammy SoSo. Earlier this year, he also teamed up with Toronto producer Harrison on “Outta This World.” He also collaborated with American Mick Jenkins on 2021’s “Off the Drugs.”

In 2021, Tobi won the Juno Award for Best Rap Recording of the Year for his Elements, Vol. 1 release.
