After releasing the highest-charting single of his career in April 2017 with the surprise No. 3 hit "1-800-273-8255," Logic is back with the follow-up.
On Thursday afternoon, he surprised everyone by sharing the artwork you see above on Twitter and Instagram with the caption: "44 More. Available everywhere tonight. Midnight EST." The song is the sequel to "44 Bars," which was released on Logic's 2016 mixtape Bobby Tarantino.
The Khalid and Alessia Cara-assisted "1-800-273-8255" focused on Logic's melodic abilities, but "44 More" is straight bars. Logic delivers nimble, rapid-fire verses over bass-heavy production from 6ix. You can hear the song on iTunes/Apple Music, Spotify below, or YouTube up top.
It's unclear whether "44 More" will end up on a project or live on as a standalone single, but Logic did reveal last year that his next album will be his last.
"I just want to end everything with a really big bang and get the fuck out of here," he told Genius. "I’m going to do something that has not been done in hip-hop before, and I mean that conceptually as well… It’s the quadrilogy. If they’re putting on the next one, it must live in that Incredible True Story universe, and it’s going to be a story to end all stories, including my own."
