Drake Performs Songs From 'Scorpion' For First Time During Surprise Set at Wireless Festival

"If you know anything about me, you know I live and die for London, England," Drake told the crowd of 50,000. "I was in the middle of my vacation. I left vacation to be with each and every one of you at Wireless Fest."

DJ Khaled canceled his headlining set at Wireless Festival in London on Sunday due to "travel issues," but event organizers were able to scramble and find a worthy replacement: Drake.

In the wake of the release of his record-breaking album, Scorpion, Drake was initially rumored to make a surprise appearance during a set from his collaborator Giggs, but he ended up extending his visit into a full headlining set. After rumors about the surprise had picked up momentum throughout the day, OVO's owl logo popped up on the screens at the main stage and confirmed his appearance.

"If you know anything about me, you know I live and die for London, England," he told the crowd of 50,000. "I was in the middle of my vacation. I left vacation to be with each and every one of you at Wireless Fest."

Along with classics like "Hold On, We're Going Home" Drake treated by performing some new songs from Scorpion for the very first time. See some highlights below.
