If you somehow missed the hilarious footage from Lil Wayne’s legal deposition, take a second to watch it here. Filmed in June, the clip stems from a copyright lawsuit Wayne filed against Quincy Jones III over the 2009 documentary The Carter. In the footage, Wayne makes the proceedings very difficult for attorney Pete Ross. He's bored, unresponsive, threatening, and uncooperative. Basically, he's awesome.
While everybody got a kick out of Wayne’s stubbornness, this isn’t the only time he's shown general apathy towards the opinion of others. Lil Wayne's past actions make it clear that he simply does not care about what anyone else thinks. After yesterday's fiasco, we've gathered up 10 more examples of Weezy being a rebel without a cause.

He Made A Rock Album
Why He Doesn't Care: Rebirth is considered one of Wayne’s worst albums, but his determination to fulfill his rock star persona was admirable. Even though the singles didn't catch fire, the album still went Gold. Plus, he's talking about a sequel. Yes, Rebirth 2. All of the hate on the original side project has not phased Weezy one bit.
He Wore Jeggings
Why He Doesn't Care: Lil Wayne isn’t afraid to take style risks. At the 2011 VMAs, he capped off that year’s awards show by performing his new songs, “How to Love” and "John." Wayne’s attire consisted of rhinestone-studded red Vans, blue Polo briefs, and leopard print pants. Those jeggings, which are typically worn by women, ended up with their own Twitter handle and caused a huge uproar within the hip-hop community—not like he cared or anything.
He Dated Trina and Superhead
Why He Doesn't Care: Wayne’s dating history has been heavily publicized, especially since two of his girlfriends were mainstays in the hip-hop scene. Trina and Wayne didn’t last very long. Neither did his relationship with Karrinne Steffans a.k.a. Superhead. But Wayne has rapped about each of them in a number of songs with lyrics that are pretty explicit. Nevermind the fact that both of them are notoriously promiscuous. Wayne doesn't care what you think about the women he's sleeping with, either.
He Was Busted With An Insane Amount of Drugs on His Tour Bus
Why He Doesn't Care: Wayne loves rapping about drugs, but they've gotten him into a lot of trouble. Back in 2008, he was near the Mexican border in Arizona when agents found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, and other related drug paraphernalia on his tour bus. In another incident, he would plead guilty to gun possession in New York in 2007 that led him to serving an 8-month stint at Riker’s Island. Since then, Wayne has not stopped glorifying drugs and guns in music, proving that those run-ins with the law mean very little to him.
He Still Takes Shots at Jay-Z
Why He Doesn't Care: Despite mutual respect between the two MCs, Lil Wayne has been quietly feuding with Jay-Z for years. Just when you thought things were over between the two, Weezy took another shot at Hov during a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles earlier this year. He rapped, “I met a bad red bone, I took the bitch home/I asked her what she want to watch, she said, 'Surely not the Throne.'"
He's Not Concerned With His Artists' Album Sales
Why He Doesn't Care: When MTV News asked Wayne if he cared about Drake’s first-week sales of Take Care back in November 2011, his answer was as disaffected as possible. “Pardon me for sounding however I sound with this statement, but we rich as shit, so numbers and record sales, that doesn't matter to none of us.”
He'd Rather Be Skating
Why He Doesn't Care: As of late, Lil Wayne and skating go hand-in-hand. While promoting his most recent release, Dedication 4, he said that he's "bored of rapping" and would rather focus on skateboarding. When you're one of the most popular rappers on Earth, those types of statements will always be shocking.
Just landed a pop shuv dwn a 3 stair!!! I'm goin krazeeeee rite now!!!!!

He Wore Headphones During the Entire VMAs Ceremony
Why He Doesn't Care: Throughout the show, Wayne was wearing his line of red Beats By Dre headphones, completely lost in his own world, and even mouthing lyrics. That's definitely a sign of how little he cares about the opinions of others, but at least he was listening to good music.
Was bangin dat Future & Bob Marley in the lil tunechi Beats, btw.

He Collaborated With Lil Mouse
Why He Doesn't Care: 13-year-old Lil Mouse caused quite a controversy when his video for “Get Smoked” came out in July. On Lil Wayne’s Dedication 4, he remixed the track, which gave Lil Mouse some major attention. The co-sign from Wayne brought up issues about whether it was right for him to promote the young rapper’s brutal lyrics about gangs, guns, and violence. Given that he got his start rapping about similar topics at a similar age, he's likely not concerned.
He Wore Neon Moon Boots
Why He Doesn't Care: In another absurd style move, Drake’s “The Motto” video featured Wayne ghost riding the whip in some bright neon green moon boots. He was later seen wearing snow boots at a Lakers game, making it clear that the backlash over his previous choice of footwear was a nonissue.
