Earlier today, Sway Calloway asked his 395,000 followers who they thought was the hottest rapper right now. This of course was to drum up anticipation for MTV's yearly "Hottest MCs in the Game" list. "If it's not Kendrick who is it?" Sway asked, as the Compton rapper topped the list in 2013.
Many in Rap Twitter decided to voice their own opinion on the topic, sharing their top 10 hottest rapper lists with impunity. The resounding selection for #1 was Drake, though rappers like Jay Z, Macklemore, and Nicki Minaj also topped a few of the lists. One thing is clear after checking out these top 10 lists: The First Amendment is alive and well.
