Tee Grizzley’s aunt and manager, Jobina Whittaker Brown was fatally shot last summer in Detroit. Now, a $2,500 reward has been offered for information that leads to an arrest.

According to WXYZ Detroit, Crime Stoppers of Michigan have extended the reward. The shooting took place in August, when the rapper and his aunt were in his car. After Grizzley got out of the vehicle, a gunman approached it on foot and opened fire. Brown—who was in the backseat—was hit on her left side. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Brown was a mother of three children and managed Grizzley and fellow Detroit rapper Sada Baby.

Alongside the news of the reward, Grizzley has released the single and accompanying music video for “Payroll,” featuring Detroit rapper Payroll Giovanni. In addition to the song, Grizzley also announced his forthcoming project, titled The Smartest, which includes the song “Satish,” a tribute to his aunt, and the Hit-Boy-produced song “Red Light.”

Grizzley opened up about the death of his aunt in December. “They feel like it should've been me. And it should've been, because it was for me,” he told Bigg Dawg Blast. “A lot of 'em just wouldn't take me serious. [They were] like, 'You better go get a job. What you tryin' to rap for?' and all this other stuff," he continued. "She believed in me. She was the only one ... She quit her job to start managing me ... She was the only one I could trust for real.”

Crime Stoppers of Michigan asks that anyone with information called 1-800-SPEAK-UP. All rewards are paid anonymously.
