People think Nino Paid and Duke Dennis bear a resemblance to one another — and the Maryland rapper isn't too happy about it.
During an installation of Rap TV’s series Scrub the Web, Nino reacted to a post on X that said, “Nino Paid & Duke Dennis gotta be cousins or some[thing].”
The rapper responded angrily to the take, repeatedly saying the user was “dick-eating.”
Nino revealed that, in addition to Dennis, people think he looks like Tyrese Gibson, Wesley Snipes, and Damson Idris, whom Nino referred to as "that n***a that play on Snowfall." People also, he said, think he looks like DaBaby, but only when he has “a low cut.” Nino added, “That shit used to fry me.”
The Maryland rapper made headlines over the summer when he was arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle, as well as thousands of dollars. The rapper was booked on July 24 for the unlawful taking of a vehicle and theft of $25,000 to under $100,000. On the same day, a picture of the 24-year-old being handcuffed while heavily surrounded by U.S. Marshals made the rounds online. He was released on his own recognizance the following day.
Nino previously spent 18 months in a youth detention center for stealing a vehicle. Earlier this year, in February, he released his sophomore studio album, Love Me as I Am, via Signal.
