After a masked intruder tried to rob Bun B’s home on Tuesday night, the rapper chased the man down and unmasked him to guarantee he went to jail, TMZ reports.

Bun B’s lawyer, Charles Adams, told the outlet that Bun and his wife, Angela "Queenie" Walls had a meeting with the District Attorney this week to talk about the attempted burglary, and to make sure they are seen as victims in the case.

Everything Bun and Queenie told the police is what law enforcement found in their own investigation. The suspect, Demonte Jackson, has been hit with three first-degree felonies: two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count of burglary.

Adams told TMZ that the intruder wasn’t set on robbing Bun in particular, but was going house to house in the neighborhood and Queenie answered the door.

On Tuesday, when Queenie opened the door, the intruder held her at gunpoint and asked for valuables. She offered him her Audi. Upon hearing the situation from upstairs, Bun grabbed his gun and confronted the intruder as he climbed into the car.

The two reportedly had a brief shootout, with the intruder eventually running away and leaving his gun behind. He later turned up at a Houston hospital with a gunshot wound on his shoulder. He was treated for his injuries and subsequently arrested.
