Nav has reached TMZ-levels of fame—just like he wanted.

While promoting his "comeback" project Bad Habits, the Canadian rapper spoke to Pitchfork about the attention—or lack thereof—he receives from paparazzi. Though Nav acknowledged he was still on the rise, he admitted to feeling "sick" every time TMZ ignored him in public.

"Honestly, I feel like I'm just now starting to get famous. But fame is something I want, it's a good problem to have," he explained. "I'm still not there, because when I walk out of fucking Delilah in L.A. and TMZ will be standing out there with cameras and not even take a picture of me, I get sick. I get in my fucking Lambo truck right in front of them. All my jewelry on and they don't even take one picture."

Well, the crew at TMZ received word about Nav's complaint, and did him one better. They gave him an on-camera interview.

"You wanted TMZ? You gettin' TMZ. What's up?" a cameraman asked the rapper Friday.

"We made it, mom! I love y'all, man," Nav responded, speaking through his car window. "I appreciate it," he told the cameraman. "It's amazing to be in front of the camera, man."

Nav's Bad Habits dropped last week, ending his two-month hiatus from music. The project includes appearances by the Weeknd, Meek Mill, Young, and Gunna. It's expected to debut atop the Billboard 200.
