Key Glock fans got a mid-week treat.

Weeks after releasing the “I Be” visual, the Paper Route Empire rapper returned Wednesday with his new track “From Nothing.” The song was accompanied by an official video that was shot in Spain, during his first-ever solo European tour. As the title suggests, the single finds Key Glock reflecting on his humble beginnings and come-up within the rap world.

“Yeah, fuck everybody, I’m all ‘bout my cream/Cartier shades, yeah, I ball like Karim,” he raps in the Blondobeats-produced cut. “… I made it out the hood, but I still be juggin’/Hood-rich n***a and still get dirty/Only 24  and I keep me a 30/Shit’ll get ugly, I got it in public.”

The video shows Key Glock in a penthouse hotel suite in Catalonia, where he shows off stacks of cash and his iced-out Young Dolph tribute chain. We also see the Memphis MC putting in work in the recording studio and taking some time to meet with his fans.

You can stream “From Nothing” on all major DSPs and watch its official video above. The song will likely appear on the follow-up to Key Glock’s 2021 project Yellow Tape 2, which received the deluxe treatment back in March.
