Excuse the corniness, but The Internet is on a roll.

At the end of April, the L.A.-based group delivered an infectious single called “Roll (Burbank Funk)”—their first official release since 2015’s Grammy-nominated album, Ego Death. The song was also accompanied by a Joel Weil-directed video that included cameos by Tyler, the Creator, Thundercat, Dev Hynes, and more. It was like Christmas for The Internet fans who’ve been patiently awaiting the group’s triumphant return.

Shortly after The Internet dropped “Roll,” the group announced the song's Kaytranada-assisted remix would arrive “VERY soon.” And they weren’t kidding. The updated version hit streaming services Thursday night, just two weeks after the original debuted.

This isn't the first time The Internet members have joined forces with the Montreal-based producer. They've also collaborated on tracks like “Girl,” as well as “You're The One” featuring The Internet’s lead signer Syd.

You can listen to the remix on Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify. Let's hope this is our first taste of an upcoming full-length project.
