The Internet

Excuse the corniness, but The Internet is on a roll.

At the end of April, the L.A.-based group delivered an infectious single called ā€œRoll (Burbank Funk)ā€ā€”their first official release since 2015ā€™s Grammy-nominated album, Ego Death. The song was also accompanied by a Joel Weil-directed video that included cameos by Tyler, the Creator, Thundercat, Dev Hynes, and more. It was like Christmas for The Internet fans whoā€™ve been patiently awaiting the groupā€™s triumphant return.

Shortly after The Internet dropped ā€œRoll,ā€ the group announced the song's Kaytranada-assisted remix would arrive ā€œVERY soon.ā€ And they werenā€™t kidding. The updated version hit streaming services Thursday night, just two weeks after the original debuted.

This isn't the first time The Internet members have joined forces with the Montreal-based producer. They've also collaborated on tracks like ā€œGirl,ā€ as well as ā€œYou're The Oneā€ featuring The Internetā€™s lead signer Syd.

You can listen to the remix on Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify. Let's hope this is our first taste of an upcoming full-length project.
