During their 2018 Coachella performance, Canadian duo DVBBS lit up the stage with the first performance of “IDWK”—an unexpected pop-house record assisted by Florida artist Blackbear.

Fans were understandably stoked for the new song, not only because it strayed from the acts’ signature sounds, but because it also included all the elements of a proper summer anthem. Melodic hook? Check. Synth-heavy beat? Check? Smooth vocals? Check? Relatable lyrics about love? Double check.

“Blackbear has always been an artist we've wanted to work with and to walk away with a record like 'IDWK' is something we are so proud of, ” DVBBS said of the collaboration. “We both stepped outside of our comfort zone on this record... and I think that's why it came out so special.”

Blackbear returned the kinds words.

“The best crossover I’ve been apart of to date, I might just dance like this bitch,” he said.

You can check out “IDWK”—an acronym for “I don’t wanna know”—below. The track is also available on streaming services such as Apple Music/iTunes and Spotify.
