Chance the Rapper wants to ensure his fans’ voices are heard.

A day before kicking off his Magnificent Coloring World Tour, the Chicago MC announced he will team up with the NAACP to bring voter registration to his U.S. shows. Chance shared the news via Twitter with #staywokeandvote, a NAACP hashtag campaign that encourages participation in the upcoming election.

"Chance the Rapper is an artist whose music praises and lifts up our common humanity, and whose call for action speaks to the yearning of this moment," Cornell William Brooks, President and CEO of the NAACP, said in a press release. "This year, more than it has in a generation, we must use the power of our voices and our votes and exercise our sacred right to vote."

In addition to registering voters, NAACP members will also provide civic engagement resources and NAACP membership information to concertgoers. The registration drives will begin Sept. 24 during the tour’s Chicago stop, and will continue through Oct. 21.

"Chance the Rapper is a unique artist whose independence is a reflection of our millennial generation, who for the first time match the number of baby Boomers in the electorate" Stephen Green, director of the NAACP Youth & College Division, said in a press release. "We’re pleased to join with Chance and the millions of young people who this year to become passionate activists and agents of change this year."
