Since its release in 2017, Juice WRLD's "Lucid Dreams" has received a number of notable remixes—the latest and most unconventional of which came courtesy Anderson .Paak.

During Saturday's episode of his .Paak House Radio show, the rapper/producer delivered an "emo pop punk" version of Juice's breakout single. The Free Nationals provided the instrumentals, while .Paak delivered the lyrics in a high-pitched, nasally twang. Those who missed the broadcast can get a taste of the cover in the Instagram video below, or stream the full episode here.

We have to admit, this iteration kind of works.

The punk-inspired cover was part of .Paak's "Flipped" segment, in which he revamps popular records in unexpected ways.

.Paak House Radio show debuted last Saturday, ahead of the rapper's Oxnard album release. The 14-track project will include the previously released single "Tint" featuring Kendrick Lamar, as well as guest appearances by J. Cole, Pusha-T, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.

Oxnard will hit streaming services Nov. 16. Pre-order the project here.
