6lack has shared the official music video for “East Atlanta Love Letter,” the title track off his sophomore album that arrived last Friday.
The visual finds the singer/rapper returning to Zone 6, along with his collaborator and fellow Atlantan Future. It’s a fitting location for the video, as the artists both reflect on their respective come-ups and the city that forever shaped them.
“Coming from the bottom of the mud/Concrete filled up with blue,” they sing in the chorus. “This is a Zone 6 stickup/Come through, everything get hit up.”
6lack is now gearing up for his From East Atlanta, With Love Tour along with special guests Boogie, Summer Walker, Tierra Whack, and They. The trek will begin Oct. 6 in Cape Town, South Africa, and will wrap up Dec. 21 in Atlanta. You can check out the full tour schedule at 6lack’s official website.
