The news comes just days after Durk and Metro Boomin fueled the hype surrounding their forthcoming collaborative album.

On Thursday, a fan on Twitter asked Metro Boomin whether he and Lil Durk still had plans to release the long-rumored project. The Atlanta producer confirmed that the joint album is on the way.

“@MetroBoomin ever dropping your durk collab album,” the fan asked, to which Metro responded, “Yes still otw we spoke about it the other day.”

Hours later, DJ Akademiks posted the screenshot on Instagram, at which point Durk jumped into the comments section to add to the excitement. “Nobody safe,” the Chicago rapper wrote.
