Fresh off donating $100,000 to Grambling State University, E-40 joins forces with his alma mater’s iconic marching band for his new music video “Bands.”

Set to appear on the Bay Area rapper’s upcoming new album, the DJ Toomp-produced “Bands” arrives alongside an accompanying visual that was filmed at Grambling State.

Featuring shots of E-40 rapping the energetic anthem across various spots of the HBCU campus, the video is also highlighted by clips of several A-list entertainers flexing their cash, from Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent to Future and Lil Baby.

“Most people don’t know that I was part of a marching band for most of my childhood, so I definitely connected with this beat,” 40 told Billboard this week. “But I just wanted to create another slap for my fans sprinkled in with a double entendre for everyone working hard to earn those bands. Shout-out to everyone at Grambling involved in making this video come to life.”
