Ahead of the release of his forthcoming album, due out later this year via Columbia Records, Dominic Fike returns with his new single “Dancing in the Courthouse.”

The track arrives alongside a music video directed by Jack Begert, which was shot in Fike’s native Florida and sees the artist revisiting his brief 2018 jail stint and subsequent house arrest.

Fike’s next album will serve as the official follow-up to his 2020 LP What Could Possibly Go Wrong, which dropped two years after Fike’s breakthrough debut EP Don’t Forget About Me.

Back in November, Fike teased his upcoming full-length project during a tour stop in Seattle.

“It’s obviously been a while since I’ve toured. It’s been a while since I’ve released music,” Fike told the crowd. “I don’t stop working. I don’t go out or anything, so the only thing I do is make music, so I have like four albums. … I have this new album that comes out really soon. It’s really good. It’s very honest. I think the world is missing honesty.”
