On Friday, Diddy dropped his new single “Gotta Move On,” which appears to address the hip-hop mogul’s 2018 breakup with Cassie, whom he dated for a decade before the R&B singer moved on to Alex Fine in 2019.

“You found a new man, so I gotta move on/Guess you got a new agenda, with someone you barely know/I won’t say you’re wrong/Guess you had to move on,” Diddy declares on the sultry song.

Hours after the release of Diddy’s latest song, Alex Fine, who’s been married to Cassie since 2019, took to his Instagram Stories to share a post in which he appeared to throw shade at his wife’s ex.

“Happy Pride to all my LGBTQ+ friends,” Fine wrote with a link to an “LGBT foundation.” He added, “Attached is a charity that helps people who are in the closet and GOTTA MOVE ON. Along with other resources.”

Fine and Cassie got engaged in August 2019 and tied the knot just two weeks later in a small ceremony in Malibu, California. They confirmed their relationship in December 2018, with Cassie posting a photo of them kissing on IG.

Since then, Cassie has given birth to two children, as the couple welcomed Frankie in December 2019 and their second daughter, Sunny, in March 2021.

Back in 2021, Fine shared a letter to his children to mark the birth of Sunny.

“Letter to my Daughters Frankie Stone Fine & Sunny Cinco Fine,” he began. “I woke up this morning with you two and your mama and took a moment to let it sink in that we created the perfect family that isn’t perfect but its filled with so much love.”
