Ja Rule and Fat Joe faced off last night in the latest installment of Verzuzas the two rappers went hit-for-hit at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City.

During the battle, Ja’s bitter rival 50 Cent started trending on social media, which didn’t sit well with Irv Gotti. The Murder Inc. Records boss took to Instagram to blast internet trolls for helping Fif steal the spotlight from the main event.

“All y’all talking about that 50 shit,” Gotti wrote in the comment section. “All good. He got beat up stabbed up. Shot up. And sued us. That’s all I’m gonna say. Your hero ain’t what you think he is. Period. And facts.”

Of course, it didn’t take long for the G-Unit boss to respond.

Fif addressed Gotti’s comments on Wednesday morning, taunting him in a pair of Instagram posts.

“Wtf am i trending for, I said I ain’t doing whatever that shit is they doing,” 50 captioned a picture of himself smoking a cigar. “I put they whole label out of business, fuck with me if you want to. I would stay out of my way if i wasn’t me. LOL.”

Hours later, Ja Rule came to Gotti’s defense, telling Atlanta’s V-103 hip-hop station that 50 would be “nothing without that fucking white boy,” a clear reference to Eminem.
