Soulja Boy on Young Dolph Saying He Makes $100,000 Per Show: 'That's Big Cap'

Soulja Boy, who is no stranger to beefing with other rappers, has said that he doesn’t believe Young Dolph’s claim that he brings in $100,000 per every show.

Soulja Boy says he doesn’t believe Young Dolph’s claim that he brings in $100,000 per show.

In a post on his Instagram Story this week, Dolph flexed about how much he was bringing in with each of his live performances. “How da fuck I’m a independent artist and gettin’ 100rax plus for a show?” wrote Dolph. “How da fuck @KeyGlock got more cars & ice than you & your ceo?” When DJ Akademiks reposted the story, Soulja Boy decided to hop in the comments and give his thoughts.

“That’s big cap [cap emoji] They signed to @empire [laughing-crying emoji] I’m really 100% independent no cap,” wrote Soulja Boy. While it’s true that Dolph has released music with Empire in the past, Empire is actually a music distribution company, not a label. Dolph’s own record label, Paper Route Empire, signed a partnership deal with Empire for distribution in 2018.

“Young Dolph if you don’t get your bitch-ass artists out my motherfuckin’ DMs, n***a,” said Soulja Boy in a follow-up post on his Instagram Story after he suggested Key Glock hopped in his private messages. “Fuck Paper Route, fuck Key Glock, fuck Young Dolph, fuck all y’all n***as.”

He then proceeded to share his alleged DMs with Key Glock.

Soulja tagged both Glock and Dolph in the post, which prompted Glock to reply with just laughing emojis. “What u wanna do?” said Soulja in the DMs. “Nothing!! I’m scared,” replied Glock.

Later down the line, he started an Instagram Live in which he said Key Glock claimed he was the first rapper to have a 3D billboard. "You really copied the same thing I did!" he said, and said the post from Dolph is what really set him off. He continued to suggest that Dolph isn’t really independent, and even claimed he “exposed” him as signed.

“This n***a is mad cause he signed to a motherfuckin’ record deal, and his whole thing is, ‘I’m independent, I’m independent.’ N***a, you dead-out lying, n***a,” he continued. “You signed to Empire, stupid-ass n***a. … It wasn’t no secret, fuck n***a. I’m just the famous-ass n***a who said it. You shoulda shut the fuck up and [not] kept saying you were independent like that.”

Soulja Boy has made plenty of outlandish claims of his own throughout the years, too. Back in August, he claimed that he bought the video game and tech company Atari, prompting a response from the company. “We know that CEO of Atari is a dream job, but that honor belongs to Wade Rosen,” the Atari company account tweeted, refuting Soulja’s claims.

He also suggested that both Nintendo and Google wanted to buy his video game company, which sells rebranded bootleg consoles under a new name.
