Quality Control CEO Doesn't F*ck With Rich the Kid But Says Label Is 'Still Eating Off Him'

On Instagram, Pierre Thomas made it clear he wasn't a fan of Rich the Kid. But when a fan asked "Rich the Kid QC or nah," he responded, "Yes we still eating off him."

Quality Control Music is arguably one of the most important labels in hip-hop right now, putting out releases from Migos and Lil Yachty among many others. Founded by Kevin "Coach K" Lee and Pierre "Pee" Thomas in 2012, the first signings were Migos, Skippa Da Flippa, and Rich the Kid. While the latter two have since left, Migos have gone on to rake in serious numbers. Everything is good between Skippa and QC, but it would seem that something went down between them and Rich.

On Instagram, Pierre Thomas made it clear he wasn't a fan of Rich the Kid anymore. "Rich the Kid QC or nah," a fan asked, to which he responded, "Yes we still eating off him." From 2013 until 2016, the 26-year-old rapper released a large number of mixtapes and collaborative projects on Quality Control. Rich the Kid is signed with Interscope and released his debut studio album The World Is Yours through both them and his own label, Rich Forever.

When Pierre was asked if he's still good with Rich, he simply responded, "No." Meanwhile, when asked what happened between QC and Skippa, he responded, "He doing him and we doing us. We wish him the best."

Whether the bad blood between them was what led to Rich's departure or because of it remains to be seen.
